Fellow Stone Creek Republican Club Members and Republicans at Large,
This is my first blog post on our new Stone Creek Republicans website. The launch of this site is the result of many thoughtful discussions about the many who, what, where, when, why, how, and which matters of a website. The key question was, and will continue to be, how to design the site for efficient and effective use.
Our goal is for the website to be a central hub for information, communication, and engagement. Over the coming weeks, you will see additional features come online, including our store, where you will be able to buy merchandise, and make donations. We will also keep the calendar current so you can stay informed about upcoming events and activities planned for the remainder of this year and next.
We anticipate including a method for members to upload photos for use in the gallery. When that becomes available, we would greatly appreciate it if you would share as many pictures as you can. We also have a fairly detailed plan for a podcast or two, which will become a widely used and highly informative resource.
In designing this site, our focus has been on keeping it straightforward, easy to use, and adaptable as our needs evolve. The goal is simple: broad-based engagement. We want you to feel connected and involved in whatever way works best for you.
I extend my deepest thanks to our board members and the many volunteers who serve on our committees. Your dedication has made the Stone Creek Republican Club, as I've been told, the largest club in the State of Florida. It is truly an exciting time to be a Republican, and it is an honor to be surrounded by so many committed and supportive members. And so, we have elections coming, work that always needs to be done, information that must be shared, and continued gatherings for ongoing victories as the good times roll in, Making America Greater Than Ever!
Also, I would like to thank a corporate sponsor for covering 100% of the costs of the website. With that said, I have begun planning for a formal corporate-sponsorship development committee, which I will share once we have clarity and a few loose ends tied up.
On behalf of the Stone Creek Republican Club, thank you for your patience, enthusiasm, trust, and confidence as we get everything up and running. Please check back often for updates.
Sincerely,
Greg Ratliff
