Is this a different event from the December Golden Holiday Special?
Yes. The Annual Inauguration Extravaganza Gala is our primary annual fundraiser. The Spring Picnic, July 4th, and Holiday engagements are either free or at a cost that breaks even.
Is it necessary to charge $150 per ticket?
Yes it is. The hard cost for this event will consume the entire cost of each ticket. The actual fundraising will come overwhelming from our Member Benefactors and Corporate Sponsors.
What is a Member Benefactor?
For this event, those who purchase a table, which seats six, will be recognized as Benefactors. The cost of a table is $1,200. Here is how it works. We would like members who are friendly, outgoing, and engaged to ask two couples, four singles, or a combination thereof, to join them at their table. We do not expect you to pick up the tab for your family, friends, neighbors, relatives, or co-workers (past or present) but rather to be the “bundler.”
What is a Bundler?
In the traditional sense: A political bundler is an individual who gathers and delivers large amounts of campaign contributions from multiple donors to a candidate in order to gain influence, access, or political leverage. For this Trump Gala, we need as many “table” bundlers as possible to step up and secure a table. The tickets for a table are, in essence, $200 per seat. This guarantees that you will be sitting with “your” people at the Gala.
Does that mean I cannot pick my seat for the Gala and sit with friends?
Yes, that’s correct. Seating will be assigned and to offer “White House Protocol Officer” type seating arrangements is simply beyond our capabilities. So let’s keep it simple. Reserve a table, sit with friends, or buy a ticket or two and make new friends.
What is The Golden Standard?
The Golden Standard is a speciality drink that will be available at the cash bar. Champagne with a Splash of Chambord, Edible Gold Flakes, and Garnished with a Fresh Red Rose Petal.
Does this mean there will be a real bar with cocktails rather than the mocktails served at the Stonewater Club?
Yes. We will have a “real” bar for “real” cocktails. And yes, we have a license to sell drinks.
Is it “really” necessary to have a fund raiser? I thought this was only going to be a fun Republican club with meetings?
Well, you are right, this is a fun and growing Republican Club. In fact, The Stone Creek Republican Club is the largest Republican Club in the State of Florida. And while your board members are not paid and rarely reimbursed for expenses, there are costs associated with running the club. This website is an example, but fortunately, the cost and time (which is extensive) have been donated. And so, the “elephant in the room” is this. This is about what value you place on your Stone Creek Republican Club? If you go out to dinner at any mid-level restaurant, you know how quickly the costs add up. And so, it “really” is necessary to have more than a fist full of dollars to do all that we do.
