Congressman Byron Donalds
Congressman Byron Donalds will be the featured speaker at the upcoming Stone Creek Republican Club meeting. A dynamic voice in Florida and national politics, Donalds currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s nineteenth congressional district, covering much of Southwest Florida. First elected to Congress in 2020 after serving four years in the Florida House of Representatives, he has established himself as a principled conservative and strong advocate for Republican values.
In 2023, Donalds drew national attention when he was nominated multiple times for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Most recently, in February 2025, he announced his candidacy for Governor of Florida in the 2026 election with the full endorsement of President Donald Trump. This is a special opportunity to hear directly from one of the most influential Republican leaders shaping Florida’s future. Tickets are required for this event.
Charlie Kirk Funeral Details
A Tribute to Charlie Kirk
Our Effort for a celebration of life
Two days ago, The Stone Creek Republicans requested to host a Celebration of Life for Charlie Kirk on October 14th. Both the US Senate and the US House of Representatives have passed resolutions making October 14th a day of Rememberance to honor Charlie Kirk. Our HOA declined our request to host this event. I have requested Pulte and our HOA Executive Board to reconsider our request. So far, the response I have received is that they are reviewing the request. I had hoped that we would have received permission to proceed with our planning, but we have not yet. I just wanted to advise everyone of the current situation. I will provide updates as soon as I hear back from Pulte or our HOA Executive Board or management team.
Greg Ratliff, President SCRC
Consider
Today, during the gathering in Arizona, consider gather in small groups—family at the kitchen table, neighbors on a porch, friends in a living room, co-workers during or after work hours—and set aside time to watch, discuss, pray, and contemplate the life, lessons, and beliefs that Charlie Kirk championed, the mission of Turning Point USA, and the platform of the Republican Party of Florida and the Republican National Committee. Begin with a moment of silence and a simple prayer for wisdom, unity, and courage. Read a short passage or play a brief clip. Ask one another, “What truth did I hear? What action can I take?” Keep the tone respectful and focused. The goal is clarity, not volume; conviction, not conflict.
Free speech is not a weapon; it is a stewardship. Ground each gathering in gratitude for the liberties that allow us to assemble, to question, and to advocate.
Be practical and purposeful. This is a time to renew our efforts to engage and volunteer with the SCRC and beyond. Write letters, attend school board and city meetings, and support policies that strengthen faith, family, work, and community. Mentor the young. Visit the elderly. Give time, not just opinions. When you disagree, practice humility. When you agree, put agreement into motion. Keep phones aside, eyes up, and hearts open.
End each gathering today in prayer for our leaders, our communities, and those with whom we disagree. Ask for discernment to separate noise from truth, for discipline to do the next right thing, and for courage to stand for what is good, honorable, and free.
This is a solemn moment, but it is also a hopeful one. Let us pray and hope we can gather together on October 14th, standing in support, and honoring the right of all to speak. Let us choose faith over fear, service over cynicism, and unity over apathy.
God Bless the United States of America.
About the funeral
Charlie Kirk’s life was a testament to faith, courage, and conviction. From his earliest days, he believed America was worth fighting for, and he dedicated every moment of his 31 years to that cause. He lived with eyes fixed on eternity, grounded in the truth of God’s Word, and driven by a calling bigger than himself.
Charlie was a servant of the Lord, a devoted husband to Erika, a loving father to two beautiful children, and a leader of uncommon clarity and strength. He did not seek influence for its own sake. Instead, he poured his life into others, raising up a generation who would be bold in their faith, steadfast in their love of freedom, and unafraid to defend their country.
What began as the vision of an 18-year-old in a small garage in Lemont, Illinois, grew into one of the most powerful grassroots movements in America. Through Turning Point USA, Charlie ignited a fire in the hearts of tens of millions daily. He showed a generation that truth must never be silenced, that courage is contagious, and that freedom must be protected at all costs.
Charlie died doing what he loved: fighting for truth, for faith, for family, and for America. His sacrifice will endure as a guiding light for generations. Though our hearts are heavy, we do not grieve as those without hope. Charlie’s legacy endures in his family, in Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action, and in the millions he inspired to live with conviction. We honor him not only with our words, but with our actions. We will move forward together, fighting harder, standing taller, and refusing to surrender.
Charlie’s life was short, but it was full. It was defined by truth, anchored in faith, and devoted to the country he loved. His legacy will endure for generations. And now he hears the words of Matthew 25:23 from his Lord and Savior: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
